How long has Seaways been in Business? Seaways has been in business since
1987. It was first established as a sole proprietorship by the founder Mr. Joshua
Babu and later incorporated to Limited Liability status in 1993. We have therefore
acquired many years hands-on experience on the business.

How will I know that Seaways will deliver my vehicle? It is true that
many people have lost their hard-earned savings through unscrupulous car importers
who are here today and gone tomorrow. They get lured by fancy adverts in the local
dailies which do not indicate the companies track record. However,
at Seaways, we have a long and rich history of satisfied customers and our reputation
and consistency in supplying quality vehicles is unmatched. back

be sure about the condition of my car? Our Suppliers provide detailed
description of the vehicles available and clear photographs in order to assist
you in the decision making process. For your piece of mind we provide 100% money
back guarantee in the unlikely event that the description does not tally with
the vehicle upon arrival. This however does not include damage that may occur
during the shipment or while at the port of Mombasa. back

have a guarantee? All vehicles imported by seaways undergo a stringent
screening process at the source before exportation. It is during this inspection
that our suppliers ensure grading and descriptions are accurate and complete.
You can therefore order your vehicle with confidence
knowing that if the vehicle you purchase via our internet stock list is misquoted
or inaccurately described in any way, we will take the vehicle and refund your
money in full. Please note that Guarantee is restricted
to vehicles purchased via our website.Tyres , brakes, clutches CV joints , batteries
and audio accessories are not included . Claims, if any, must be submitted within
14 days from delivery of your vehicle. Vehicles whose customs clearance was not
undertaken by Seaways will not be covered. back

it take before I get my car? Typically it should take 45 to 60 days for
your vehicle to arrive at the port of Mombasa. However, this depends on a number
of factors e.g. 1. Availability of Vessels 2. Whether you made your payments
on time 3. Whether the other documentation relevant for your vehicle is ready
on time e.g duty exemption letters. Your cooperation
therefore plays an important role in order to achieve the shortest import period.
Upon arrival at the port, we will require one week to
clear with the Kenya Ports Authority and Customs. back

of vehicles does Seaways supply? We supply a wide variety of both new

in a different currency from the one quoted. Is it possible? Payments
may be made in Kenya Shillings or any other convertible currency. Please see PAYMENT

current regulations regarding motor vehicle imports to Kenya? You don't
need to worry about procedures and documentations as Seaways handles the entire
process for you. More details are however available from the Kenya Revenue
Authority - a Government Department in Charge of collecting revenue and Cotecna
Inspection SA are currently contracted by the Government of Kenya to carry
out Pre-shipment Inspection of exports to Kenya. back

following terms mean CIF, FOB, PSI, & KRA ? CIF- Cost Insurance Freight
This refers to prices quoted to include cost of goods marine insurance and freight
to port of destination. FOB-Free On Board
This refers to the cost of goods at destination. Freight charges and marine insurance
is not included. PSI-Pre Shipment Inspection KRA-Kenya
